Admin and Winter collection

Hello lovelies,

Hope your winter has been a delightful excuse to stock up on warm knits, faux fur, knee highs and layer upon layer of basics. Just a little update from our side of the world, beginning from our winter collection release in July (specific date TBA) all inquires and emails will be directed to this email address: friperiesydney@hotmail.com. If we are still in negotiation for items from any of the previous collections via my personal email address, don't worry I will still reply, however it will be through the new and exclusive friperie email address. Secondly, as you know our anticipated winter collection is in the works and will be shot and released sometime in July. Next week I will get into contact with photographers as well as filtering through the inventory for some amazing pieces that won't just warm your little bodies! Lastly please continue to support us through our twitter page as well as our facebook page for updates, inspirations, info about our friends and everything in between.

Going global

Hello cherubs,

Hope life has been treating you kind and that the weather (if you're in Sydney) hasn't murdered you with its bipolar tendencies. Just a quick update on Friperie and its progress so far. As you know our Autumn collection "Nothings sweet about me" has been such a success and I cannot express enough gratitiude for the people who have purchased and adored this collection. Once again a big thanks to my talented girl Janelle at THEDARKHUE Photography for snapping the masterpiece. Secondly our giveaway has been extended until the end of May (31st) so plesae keep the suggestions by following us on the twit and befriending us on the face! We appreciate it! Thirdly and most importantly, as of today Friperie is going global! Meaning we will be posting out to interested potential customers living in both hemispheres! How exciting! So let your pen pals, overseas stalkers and relatives living in other countries know of this little baby. Please note prices are marked in Australian Dollars for conversion purposes. Nothing's Sweet About Me.

Hey Changelings!

Recall Gabriella Cilmi's one hit wonder? Well regardless of whether you thought it was a shit or hit, this song title couldn't have summed up Friperie's latest Autumn collection. This season we're offering beautiful vintage threads, bright colours, subtle patterns and everything sweet and sickeningly good. However the Friperie woman is multi-faceted and this collection reflects the contradiction. It is all about feminine and masculine, naughty and nice, sweet yet sour, harmless yet toxic. Indeed this Autumn we want to keep you guessing. These pieces will forever keep you puzzled as to whether she is innocuous or fierce, or perhaps one will never really know.

Collection is to be released Monday evening (25th April) at approximately 6pm EST. Giveaway Promo will be launched the following day, Tuesday 26th April. Photos are courtesy once again to the ever talented Janelle Erika at THEDARKHUE Photography.

I miss you most of all, my darling, when autumn leaves start to fall

Hello lovelies,

Hope your April has been treating you well! It's been remarkably busy on our end of the world but finally our Autumn collection is in the works. We've got a photographer on board and soon we'll be shooting and selling all in the same week. We're just as keen to give away these goodies as much as you want them in your closets so please keep your eyes peeled for the officially release (date TBA but we're looking in around two weeks!). Our officially giveaway promo will also be launched at the same time of the Autumn giveaway so don't hesitate to enter and spread the word.

I've also recently been scheming in regards to Friperie and changes could be happening that could see this little baby take its first steps into the real world. I know I'm talking vaguely but once things are underway we'll keep you in the loop and reveal the major plans!

Update

Hi lovelies,

Hope your autumn has been splendid so far! First and foremost, thank you soooo much for all your support and love towards friperie and it's summer collection. Markdowns and items are still available from our "First dates & Big Mistakes" collection, so please snag a bargain or spread the word while they're still up for grabs.

As for our autumn collection, busy schedules and life in general have been the culprit for our delayed timing. Apologies on our part but sorting and shooting should be done towards the end of March for an early April release. Expect pretty party cocktails and some cute warm knits to combat winter's steadying approach! We will be also releasing our belated birthday giveaway this April with some sweet and spoilworthy goodies to lavish you with. So keep your eyes peeled to the noticeboard for more details. Lastly please don't tire of spreading the word and letting your friends, foes and everyone in between of this little baby. Honestly, friperie wouldn't exist to this day without your relentless support and word-of-mouth.

Summer Collection and Facebook

Hello lovelies,

Just a few quick announcements to be made, first is just a reminder that our summer collection (number one for 2011) entitled "First Dates and Big Mistakes" will be released tomorrow, January 31. The time as of now is unconfirmed but we will be releasing the collection to the general public between 6-9pm (it will definitely by posted by 9pm the latest) EST. So please do not forget the date or hesitate to spread the word. This would be much appreciated. I am so excited for this collection and hope for your unwavering support on this one!

Secondly, as of our summer collection, we will be posting our entire shoot (including photos unseen on our website) on our facebook fan page (after inital release on our official website, this blogspot). The purchasing process will still remain the same (via email or facebook message) however, this will give us an opportunity to expand our customer base so please have a peek/be a fan!

Lastly, I can't believe Friperie is turning 1 next month! It's amazing to think that my baby has progressed to what it is today and I can't express my gratitude for the support, love and constant customers that I have in you all. We will be having a lovely giveaway promo to celebrate Friperie's birthday so keep your eyes peeled on the noticeboard for more details.

Happy new year darlings!

As belated as that sounds, it feels like January first over here at Friperie as we get cracking sorting, shifting, shooting and welcoming the new season with our summer collection. With shooting done and editing to go, we are beyond excited for this year and what Friperie will accomplish in the new year. This 2011 we have greater gifts of lustworthy apparel, giveaway galore (our birthday is coming up!), interesting shoots and campaigns and much more fun for our fans and customers to come.

So fret not if you never got round to purchasing a shirt you were considering or failed to join a competition before it's conclusion, we will be keeping you updated consistently via facebook/twitter and of course our official blog on this noticeboard. We hope you'll keep Friperie close to heart and continue to spread the word to friends and fiends alike. We love and thank you infinitely.
