Tis the season to be...

Hello lovelies!

Apologies for the silent treatment but we're finally getting our itshay sorted to bid 2011 a bittersweet farewell and to welcome the new year with open arms and greater expectations. Firstly, thank you for all those who supported our spring offering "Little Lady Lost" and most especially those who found some of our lovely garb a home in their wardrobes. Just to let you know, we've reduced some of the prices from the remaining items for sale as well as our winter collection "In a Winter Wonderland" so please do have a final peek before they're no longer available. Second, due to conflicting and busy schedules we're going to have to delay/postpone our Summer collection till the end of January. The official date will be confirmed ASAP but we apologise in advance for not getting the new collection out in sync with the new year. Alas, I promise you will not be disappointed by the amazing summer pieces (yes, even some for you handsome men) we have to offer for 2012!

Thirdly, due to the delay of our Summer release we will be releasing a Christmas/New Years giveaway that will run from the 18 December 2011 until 8 January 2011. The details on what we're actually giving away and how to win them for your own will be announced on the 18th but just to let you know it's nothing like the crappy KK gifts or oblivious distant relative presents you may receive or have received in the past. So please keep your eyes peeled on our noticeboard or on our lovely twitter account or facebook page for any hints as to what lovely goodies we will be lavishing you with.


I cannot thank you enough for all the support you've given Friperie for the past year or so and am still in disbelief of our existence. I can only hope that you'll continue to love and entertain us as well as spread the word and love. Rest assured, I have some big plans for my little baby that may see us expanding into new and exciting horizons. It can only go from bigger and better from here.

Spring fever

Dearest lovers,

Have you missed us? We sure have! It's been awhile since we shut our sleep eyes and hibernated through winter but alas, spring time is very much on the radar and despite Sydney's ever schizophrenic weather, we at Friperie have spring fever (not the hayfever kind, thankfully). We've finally gotten our shoot sorted (many thanks to my talented friend Neil Guasch), photos edited and we're beyond excited to share with you all the fabulous trans seasonal garb we have to offer. So we hope you'll open your wardrobes once again as our Spring 2011 collection entitled "little lady lost" goes viral on October 17 9am EST. "In a winter wonderland" release tonight!

Hi cherubs!

Just wanted to remind you all that our July collection, entitled "In a Winter Wonderland" will be released tonight (Monday 25th July 2011) on the collections page of this website! We aim to get it up and running by 6pm tonight so please be on the lookout! We would appreciate spreading the word and letting all your friends, fiends and lovers about our collection. Secondly we will also be releasing the non-edited original version of all the photos on our facebook page tonight after its initial launch on this website. Please note that the quality of the photographs aren't as lovely as usual due to editing but please do not hesitate to contact me for further information on specific pieces. Winter warmers

Hi lovelies,

I hope you are all well, and that your winter has been a relentless yet delicious cycle of snuggles, hot chocolate, credit card damage and reverse cycle air conditioning. I know we're all dying for spring to emerge out of the grizzly mornings and nights we are currently experiencing but while we wait, I hope you'll embrace Friperie's winter collection for 2011. After delays due to busy schedules and uncooperative weather, we've finally gotten this collection shot and ready for editing and release. Firstly, thank you immensely to my amazing friend Andrea (http://hausofstylelovers.blogspot.com/) for shooting the collection and braving the bed weather and winds!

Although this collection is quite smaller than the regular, we hope that the pieces won't disappoint. We have a few mens/unisex pieces so please spread the word to ladies, mens and everyone in between. It's all about vintage threads, warm outerwear and cute little cocktails for layering. The collection will be released on MONDAY 25 APRIL 2011 6PM EST. Admin and Winter collection

Hello lovelies,

Hope your winter has been a delightful excuse to stock up on warm knits, faux fur, knee highs and layer upon layer of basics. Just a little update from our side of the world, beginning from our winter collection release in July (specific date TBA) all inquires and emails will be directed to this email address: friperiesydney@hotmail.com. If we are still in negotiation for items from any of the previous collections via my personal email address, don't worry I will still reply, however it will be through the new and exclusive friperie email address. Secondly, as you know our anticipated winter collection is in the works and will be shot and released sometime in July. Next week I will get into contact with photographers as well as filtering through the inventory for some amazing pieces that won't just warm your little bodies! Going global

Hello cherubs,

Hope life has been treating you kind and that the weather (if you're in Sydney) hasn't murdered you with its bipolar tendencies. Just a quick update on Friperie and its progress so far. As you know our Autumn collection "Nothings sweet about me" has been such a success and I cannot express enough gratitiude for the people who have purchased and adored this collection. Once again a big thanks to my talented girl Janelle at THEDARKHUE Photography for snapping the masterpiece. Secondly our giveaway has been extended until the end of May (31st) so plesae keep the suggestions by following us on the twit and befriending us on the face! We appreciate it! Thirdly and most importantly, as of today Friperie is going global! Meaning we will be posting out to interested potential customers living in both hemispheres! How exciting! So let your pen pals, overseas stalkers and relatives living in other countries know of this little baby. Please note prices are marked in Australian Dollars for conversion purposes.
