F.X.U. Promo

Hello Lovelies!

I hope you've been savouring the recently brilliant summer weather we've been having in Sydney and readying yourselves for the festive season upon us! Here at Friperie, we are perpetually grateful to have had such great support over the past ten months and honestly I didn't think this conceptual baby would ever come to life let alone last this long so from the bottom of this tiny ticker I thank you sooo much.

To continue spreading the love this chrissie and new years, Friperie would like to show it's gratitude by giving one fortunate fan a chance to win a small steal of goodies! Please note all the items are female- orientated but men are free to enter on behalf of their ladyfriends! Bow ties

Hello Darlings,

I've always had a weakness for men in bow ties (see photo below, yum). So you can imagine the excitement that emerged after finding a sexy vintage one hidden beneath my wonderful pile of ancient apparel. It's adorable, satin and black with velcro straps. Firstly, thank you so much for those who have already purchase from Friperie's spring collection. We truly appreciate your dedication and eagerness! Please continue to spread the word and browse when you have the time to! Secondly, I just wanted to repost a men's blazer and shirt from April's The Street Side- Beau Monde collection (found at the bottom of this notice)! It has been further reduced and is available if any men are interested. Please note gents, that we have a few items in our spring collection to revamp and add to the eclectic tasted male, so please have a peek. Thirdly, our winter Grandmother's Closet collection has been further reduced so please also have a recheck. Fourthly, for those who are inquiring, our spring collection will have further reductions after its initial month long release. FRIPERE NEEDS A FACE UPDATE

Hello lovely friends of Friperie!

Just wanted to let you all know that the Friperie needs a face project has been extended to October 13! Please keep those emails with your logo ideas coming! I am beyond excited to see what creative things you have up your sleeve, your 5 minute scribble could finally give Friperie an identity! Please spread the word to your friends and folk who you believe are artistically articulate. Or even if they aren't. Give it a try! Don't forget to read the rules of the project here.

Friperie needs a face project

I've come to realise, actually I've always been aware I've just recently struck enough effort to conduct this, that Friperie has been in existence for seven or so months and still lacks a distinguishable face. We all know how annoying it is to pronounce Friperie in public (myself included) without sounding like a snotty pole-up-my-ass french wannabe or even worse, a defacer of the beautiful language. Hence, Friperie is calling its artistic friends and other strangers keen to stretch their creative bones by creating a logo for this little baby of mine.

Rules & Details:

1. Project starts from the 13 September- 1 October 2010 (12am EST).
2. Email logo and rambles to abigailanncruz@hotmail.com 
3. You must either refer a friend or yourself as Friperie's friend on facebook/twitter/lookbook.
4. Your logo must have the name Friperie somewhere in your design. At the very least the letter F.
5. Any medium is acceptable, please resize your images though to no greater than 640 x480 dimension wise. jpg formats only accepted.
6. The sky is the limit with what I'm looking for thematically/conceptually. The only thing I will hint is that if you intend to draw an intricate colourful Sistine chapel equivalent, you most likely will not be selected. Since its a logo, I'm after something that is original, easy to remember, embodies what Friperie is and is easy to use as a banner, tag etc. So go crazy, absurd and ridiculous. Feel free to attach a short explanation of your idea for the logo if its not self-explanatory.
7. Break a rule and you will not be considered or disqualified from the project.

Prize & Collection:

• Friperie will use the the selected winner's design as their logo (obviously!)
• Credit will be given to selected winner as well as free promotion if desired.
• Since we're still meager as a little hobby, I apologise for not being able to give a stellar prize and instead a small token of appreciation...
